Flanged tubing fittings use a formed tube end as part of the seal. This category groups fitting bodies, clips and retaining components in PEEK, PP, PPS and PVDF. It also includes sets for several tube diameters and port threads. Select the tube-end geometry and every retaining part as one connection system.
Define the tube end before the fitting body
Confirm that the tubing uses a flange or can receive the flange specified for the selected component. Record the tube outside diameter, inside diameter and material. The tube OD controls the retaining component. The tube ID remains part of the fluid-path specification.
The flange face must meet the mating seat correctly. A damaged, uneven or incorrect flange can prevent a stable seal even when the thread fits. Check the required forming method and inspect the finished end before assembly.
Flanged connections can use 1/4-28, M6, 10-32 or other threads in the fitting body. The thread identifies how the body engages the port. It does not define the flange dimensions. Confirm both details from the model label.
Select the material and retaining components
PEEK, PP, PPS and PVDF products are listed in this category. Material selection applies to every wetted part, including the tube. Check the liquid, concentration, temperature and cleaning process against the published limits for each material.
Some product pages list fitting bodies and clips as separate variations. Others contain a fitting with a prepared tube section. Verify what the selected option includes. A complete-looking product image may show parts that are not in every variation.
Retaining clips, sleeves and washers must match the tube OD and fitting design. Similar parts from another product family can have different seat or retention dimensions. Use the product code or drawing when you replace one component from an existing assembly.
Record the complete connection
For a new connection, specify the port thread, tube OD, tube ID, tube material, flange form, fitting material and quantity. For a replacement, also record the existing body shape and any code on the fitting.
Inspect the tube end before each installation. Replace a tube or retaining part if the flange is distorted, cracked or unable to sit squarely. Tighten the fitting according to the equipment instructions. Excess force cannot correct the wrong flange or an incompatible seat.
Use the parent HPLC / PEEK Fittings page to compare conical and threaded connections. See 1/4-28 UNF and M6 fittings when the port thread controls the search. Review Quality and Material Compatibility or contact Flownectra before a material substitution.
