This category includes zirconia and alumina solid rods, tubes, shafts, sleeves, spacers, rings, washers, positioning pins and plunger components in model-specific sizes and finishes. Use the exact product configuration to match the geometry, material and dimensional requirements of the assembled part.
How to choose a technical ceramic component
Start with the geometry. Choose a solid rod, tube, shaft, sleeve, spacer, ring, washer or positioning pin according to how the part is supported, guided or exposed in the assembly.
Confirm material and finish. The catalogue includes zirconia, alumina, black and white ceramic options, as well as polished, ground and chamfered configurations. Confirm the exact model data for the required surface and edge condition.
Match the dimensions. Record outside diameter, inside diameter where applicable, length, profile and tolerance. Several products use selectable configurations, so the product title alone is not a substitute for the chosen option.
Check quantity and configuration. Some pins, spacers, sleeves and rings are supplied in multi-piece packs while rods and shafts may be sold individually. Confirm the sales unit before ordering.
Before ordering
Send the part drawing or the required outside diameter, inside diameter, length, profile, finish, quantity and application conditions. For a replacement, compare the installed component and mating parts rather than selecting by appearance alone. Confirm the complete assembly's temperature, load, wear, chemical exposure and dimensional requirements against the supplier data for the exact model.
These components are intended for laboratory, analytical and industrial assemblies. Final material suitability, tolerances and operating limits must be confirmed for the complete application before use.
